3rd Edition

3rd RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2015

The 3rd edition of the RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2015 saw participation from forty-five teams out of which thirty-two were selected for the oral rounds based on a memorial knockout. These thirty-two teams argued before a dynamic panel of judges. The semi-finals took place between Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat, Amity Law School, (IP University), Delhi and Symbiosis Law School, Noida, who managed to put forward creative arguments taking the competition up by a notch. The moot problem for the edition was framed by Mr. Gopal Sankaranarayan, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. The stirring final rounds were held between Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat and Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar which managed to gather a courtroom full of spectators. The bench comprised of Hon’ble (Mr.) Justice A. K. Sikri, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Mr. Rakesh Munjal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Mrs. Geeta Luthra, Senior Advocate, Delhi High Court, Mr. Jaideep Narain Mathur, Senior Advocate, Allahabad High Court and Mr. Surendra Malik, Chief Editor, Supreme Court Cases which adjudged Jindal Global Law School as the winners.
