2nd RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2014
The 2nd edition of the RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2014 again witnessed twenty-seven teams arguing before a well-qualified and acclaimed panel of judges. The semi-finals took place between West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat and Symbiosis Law School, Pune. The moot problem for the edition was drafted by Mr. Subhiksh Vasudev, practising Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. The finals were conducted between WBNUJS, Kolkata and Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat. The bench, comprising judges from the Allahabad High Court, Hon’ble (Mr.) Justice (retd.) Vishnu Sahai, Hon’ble (Mr.) Justice D.K. Arora, Hon’ble (Mr.) Justice R. R. Awasthi, Hon’ble (Mr.) Justice D. K. Upadhyay and Mrs. Rajdipa Behura, Advocate Supreme Court, collectively adjudged WBNUJS, Kolkata as the winners. The event culminated with the Valedictory ceremony.
